Candida Treatment and Remedy

Is There Something Like The Perfect Candida Albicans Yeast Cure?

The most important thing that you should know about Candidasis and Candida-treatment is that it can be fought on many different fronts. One thing that you should also know if you are battling candida albicans is that there is no single candida cure or candida remedy that may actually prove to be one hundred percent effective.

Before we discuss the treatments of candida that are available, there are a couple of things that you should know. First, you should know that the elimination of the overgrowth of Candida is a very lengthy process that can take anywhere from four to six months. Dietary supplements are essential when it comes to the recovery of long term candidiasis sufferers because they will have multiple nutrient deficiencies. For an alternative candida test you should read my article: Alternative Candida Test.

You should also know that there are many illnesses where candidiasis is present that will also have many other symptoms involved that are non-candida related. In these types of cases, you will find that the elimination of the overgrowth of candida will actually allow the identification as well as treatment and management of the related problems that are non-candida.

Antifungal Therapy - Candida Yeast Cure

Even though there are several problems present with antifungal therapy treatments, treating candidiasis with antifungal medication such as Nystatin and Diflucan has really proven to be effective in treating disorders where the overgrowth of candida can really be a causative factor.

When antifungal medications are prescribed, they are not prescribed for a period that is longer than six months because the antifungal medications can really be harmful if they are taken for a long period of time.

During the time that the individual is taking medication, the symptoms are alleviated substantially however, but they are known to come back once the individual discontinues using the medication.

One reason that this may be possible is based around the point that not all of the yeast is killed by the antifungal therapy treatment medication.

One reason that all of the yeast may not be killed is because there was drug resistant yeast that appeared during the time that treatment was taking place, another reason that all of the yeast may not have been killed may be because some of the yeast was hidden in recesses in the intestinal wall or even in deeper layers of the mucosa so that they could not be reached by the medication.

Once the antifungal medication is stopped, the yeast that was resistant or hidden then repopulate readily in the intestine.

The antifungal medication also doesn’t stop to help repopulate the gastrointestinal tract with organisms that are friendly.

Candida Diet

The most effective method, traditionally, of controlling the overgrowth of candida has been candida diet.

One thing that you will learn about the candida diet is that it is very similar to the diet of autistic children and some of the diets that relate to low cholesterol which is known as the gluten free or casein free diet.

According to the people that have tried it, the diet can be really hard to stick to but if you have suffered from the effects of candida, you won’t mind undergoing a bit of hardship just to control it or better still, get rid of it.
